The new Sony Ericsson W890 is a super-slim one with cut line, storage space of 2 GB and 3.2 MP Camera. The stylish new W890 truly touches the hearts of youngsters with latest Walkman features. The W890 is not the one with loudest voice but certainly has the ability to play music at good quality. Loudest isn’t always the best. W890 - Another good edition to Walkman series.

The phone’s key features are Quad-band GSM, fast photo browser, FM Radio, 2 GB M2 card included, battery cover release mechanism and finger print resistant body panels. Talking about the Pro’s, there are a few Con’s there too; like No camera auto-focus and no flash, no skins for walkman player and just a 26 MB internal memory. However the internal memory is not much valuable with increasing external memories but the absence of auto-focus and flash does matter.

Sony Ericsson W890 is 9.9 mm thick and weighs just 78 grams. Display has grown from 1.8" to 2" in W890. The handset is offered in three different colors named; (i) Espresso Black, (ii) Mocha Brown, (iii) Sparkling Silver.

Let’s talk about the keypad and set control buttons. Just like before, there is on/off key on the top of the phone with absolutely no key or port at the bottom side. A video call camera is located just above the screen of the phone. Below the display, there are navigational keys grouped in three circular patterns. The call and the call end key are placed separately on the keypad. Even if you are a regular Sony Ericsson phone user, it will take time for you to handle the keypad because there’s no back key this time. On the right side of the phone there is a camera key and also video rocker. The Walkman key as usual rests on the left side of the phone along with the port for USB, Charger and Handsfree. Remember there is a single port for USB, Charger and Handsfree.
